Happy Honu Shave Ice™ is Ohana owned and operated. It all began with a conversation about our childhood memories. Laura grew up in Phoenix, AZ, and was raised on “Raspados” – Mexican-style shave ice desserts. Desmond grew up in Haleiwa, HI, where Hawaiian-style shave ice was always an “after-da-beach” treat. When we finally came together to realize and integrate our passion for shave ice, we decided to pursue the craft to share that same happiness with everyone. We have been blessed with having our children (Anthony & Alyssa) champion our vision.
Our dream is to provide people with the freshest, softest snow, embellished with their choice(s) of their favorite flavors and toppings. We hope that while people sit down to relax and enjoy our desserts, LIFE HAPPENS, relationships are created and strengthened, and this world is impacted by LOVE, one person at a time.
